About the Battle

English longbowmen destroyed French knights in mud and rain. Henry Vs army of 6,000 defeated 30,000 French. The French lost up to 10,000 men, the English barely 100. The longbow outranged and outpaced the crossbow. Shakespeare gave Henry a stirring speech that may never have been delivered.
