About the Battle

General MacArthurs brilliant amphibious landing behind enemy lines turned the Korean War around. The landing was considered impossible due to extreme tides and narrow channels. Within two weeks, UN forces had recaptured Seoul. China entered the war months later, pushing UN forces back. Considered MacArthurs finest hour.
