About the Battle

Frederick the Greats masterpiece, defeating an Austrian army twice his size. Used the oblique order tactic, attacking one flank with overwhelming force. The Prussians sang the hymn Now Thank We All Our God before attacking. Frederick called it his finest hour. Kept Prussia in the war against seemingly impossible odds.
